Join the movement to revolutionize maternal mental health care, one convesation at a time.

a message from our founder, Nicole lockhart

The data reflects that modern mothers are navigating a severe isolation crisis where 1 in 10 are raising children entirely unsupported. Most maternal support systems focus on postpartum care, yet emotional distress often begins during conception struggles, exist throughout pregnancy, and continue beyond a six-months check up.

Mable is building avenues to provide confidential mental health support that will deliver immediate responses to parents in need. With 3.6 million births in the U.S. last year, the potential population in need is enormous.

Mable meets mothers where they are — while delivering what AI cannot: real human counseling, evidence-based expertise, and genuine connection.

why it matters

Mothers often seek support not only for depression or anxiety, but for overwhelm, identity loss, relationship strain, guilt, isolation, career challenges, and the day-to-day emotional weight of caregiving.

Traditional mental health systems depend on a mother recognizing she needs help, finding a provider, scheduling an appointment, and overcoming stigma. Mable reduces those barriers by providing immediate, judgment-free support exactly when a mother is ready to reach out.

who we currently serve

Spanning conception through parenting, Mable currently serves parents trying to conceive, those who are currently pregnant, or those who have children under 2 years of age. We are a national non-profit organization based in the United States.

our solution to the problem

Mable pairs human connection with simple technology, compassionate communication, and access to resources to help mothers with whatever needs they present to us. By connecting with a Mable Maternity Counselor, every conversation with a mother is treated with respect and compassion, regardless of their situation or demographic background.

Partnering with Mable is an opportunity to tilt the scales back in a mother’s favor.

  • 48% of mothers who needed support did not adequately receive it

  • 93% of mothers say they experience caregiver burnout

  • Only 9% of mothers say that they are able to consistently prioritize their own well-being

  • A significant number of mothers struggle silently: 1 in 5 mothers told no one about their emotional difficulties.
